Tomar honours Isabel Baltazar

Isabel Baltazar will be honoured by the city of Tomar, where she was born, with the award of the Municipality Medal of Honour.
According to the City Council, with which the IHC also has a partnership within the scope of the Festival of the Trays, the researcher stood out for having received the History of Europe Prize — Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation by the Portuguese Academy of History in 2020 and for the research she has been conducting at the Municipal Archive and Library.
The Medals, to be awarded to a total of 16 individuals and institutions, will be presented on 1 March, Day of Tomar, in a virtual session.
