IHC leaves Twitter/X
Feb 6, 2025 | News
After careful reflection and deliberation about the values and changes recently introduced to the Twitter/X social network, the IHC Board has decided to leave this platform as of 7 February.
The IHC has observed how hate speech and the dissemination of disinformation have not only increased, but have been actively promoted on this platform. This situation is not in line with IHC’s values and mission. We have therefore taken the decision to abandon it. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon and, as of this week, Bluesky.
So, as of 7 February we will no longer be active on Twitter/X, but we will keep our profile with a notification of our departure and for archiving purposes.
