Biography
She has a PhD in Institutional and Political Contemporary History, a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and an undergraduate degree in History.
She is a researcher at the Institute of Contemporary History of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. She coordinated research projects funded by the FCT. Her research fields are political communication and gender studies, history of media and journalism, censorship and freedom of speech. She is the author of several books, such as Marcelo Caetano: Imprensa e Poder (2006).
