Margarida M. Ramalho and Leonor Sá honoured by the Grémio Literário
Apr 16, 2019 | News
IHC researchers Margarida de Magalhães Ramalho and Leonor Sá were two of the authors awarded this year by the Grémio Literário [Literary Guild].
Margarida de Magalhães Ramalho received the ’Prémio do Grémio Literário 2018’ for her book “Thomaz de Mello Breyner – Relatos de uma Época. Do final da Monarquia ao Estado Novo”, published by Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda in 2018. Leonor Sá, as we had already reported, received an Honorable Mention for the book “Infâmia e fama: o mistério dos primeiros retratos judiciários em Portugal 1869 –1895”.
Margarida de Magalhães Ramalho sees her research work on the diaries of Thomaz de Mello Breyner, which resulted in the publication of this detailed biography launched at the National Library of Portugal last October, thus recognised.
Both awards will be presented on 18 April, at 7PM, at the Grémio Literário, in Lisbon, together with the commemoration of the institution’s 173rd anniversary.
