Imprensa de História Contemporânea launches call for books

Following the announcement, on 15 Novembre, of the first books to be published, the Editorial Board of the Imprensa de História Contemporânea [Contemporary History Press] opened a new period for proposal submission this week, which will be open until 31 December 2018 31 January 2019.
The Imprensa de História Contemporânea was launched by the IHC in 2017 and is a university publisher specializing in the dissemination of original research in the areas of History and Social Sciences focusing on the modern and contemporary periods.
Interested authors may submit original and unpublished proposals in the form of complete manuscripts or book projects. Following an editorial selection and peer review process, all the books will be published in open access, including on the OAPEN academic platform, following the IHC’s commitment to the policies of accessibility and dissemination of historical science.
