The Institute of Contemporary History has been invited to join the Scientific Council of the José Mário Branco Research and Documentation Centre – Music and Freedom (CEDJMB-ML), where it will be represented by its President, Luís Trindade.
The CEDJMB-ML was created in 2021, following the signing of a protocol between the family of José Mário Branco (1942-2019) and NOVA FCSH, and aims to promote the study and dissemination of research into the artist’s work. José Mário Branco’s estate is in the custody of NOVA FCSH, where it is being preserved, catalogued, and studied by INET-md and CESEM.
CEDJMB-ML’s Scientific Council is chaired by Salwa Castelo-Branco, from INET-md.
