A conversation between Esmat Elhalaby, Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and winner of the first edition of the Amílcar Cabral Prize, and Manuela Ribeiro Sanches (IHC — NOVA FCSH / IN2PAST). The topic will be the past and ongoing research of Esmat Elhalaby.

This event is part of the meeting “Empire, Anti-Colonialism and Contemporary History“.
