Summary:

In accordance with Article 39 of the University Teaching Career Statute (ECDU), approved by Decree-Law no. 448/79, of 13 November, in its current wording, the Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon, Professor Alexandra Curvelo, acting by delegation of powers in the terms specified in paragraph b) of no. 1 of Order no. 13828/2025, of 20 November, published in Diário da República, is hereby made known that an international documentary recruitment procedure is open for a period of 30 working days, counting from the day immediately following the publication of this Notice in the Diário da República, for the recruitment of one position of Assistant Professor at the NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon, for the development of teaching and research activities in the disciplinary field of Social Sciences, namely in the domain of Political Economy. The teaching and research activities will be carried out within the Department of Political Studies, in articulation with the Research Unit IHC – Institute of Contemporary History. This position may be funded under the 2nd edition of the FCT-Tenure Programme.
