The IHC at Évora’s European Researchers Night
Sep 23, 2021 | News

Once again, the IHC is one of the organising and participating institutions in Évora’s edition of the European Researchers Night, on 24 September, this year with the theme “Science for the Climate” and under the coordination of Maria de Fátima Nunes.
With a rich programme of activities for all tastes and ages, the city of Évora hosts the biggest European science festival in various spaces, but with its centre in the famous Giraldo Square.
The IHC will also be at the iconic square, with Sara Albuquerque and the children’s tale “Frederico and the wonderful plant”; and at the Frei Manuel do Cenáculo National Museum, with Ana Cristina Martins and a journey to the pieces that illustrate climate action in the past. The IHC also promotes online activities, such as “Which objects represent a human era?”, with Natália Melo.
The European Researchers Night is an initiative of the European Commission through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, that is implemented by different institutional consortia throughout Europe. The IHC is part of the consortium led by the National Museum of Natural History and Science of the University of Lisbon.
