Tânia Casimiro receives award for her international publications

Past Wednesday, Tânia Manuel Casimiro received the Santander Prize for the Internationalisation of Scientific Production from NOVA FCSH, during the celebration of the 41st Anniversary of the higher education institution. The award aims at “distinguishing the internationalisation of the professors, researchers, and Research Units’ scientific production”.
The IHC researcher ranked second in the Researcher Award category, with the publication of five papers in international journals indexed in the Web of Science and/or SCOPUS during the year 2018, significantly contributing to the international profile of NOVA FCSH’s publications.
The five articles were published in the journals Spectrochimica Acta – Part A: Molecular Spectroscopy,International Journal of Nautical Archaeology, Industrial Archaeology Review, Archaeometry, and the Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports, all in the field of Archaeology, but covering topics ranging from the spectroscopy of remains to material culture and industrial archeology. The geographical range is equally wide, from Portugal to Arabia.
