Maria Inácia Rezola receives award in Leiria

Maria Inácia Rezola received the Afonso Lopes Vieira Trophy, in the Personality category, at the XXI Gala of the Região de Leiria newspaper, which took place under the theme “Solidarity and Peace” at the José Lúcio da Silva Theater, in Leiria.
Recently appointed Executive Commissioner of the Mission Structure for the Commemorations of the 50th anniversary of the Revolution of 25 April 1974, Maria Inácia Rezola is a researcher at the IHC and a professor at the IPL’s School of Communication and Media Studies. She is also a member of the RTP Opinion Council.
From her vast bibliographic production, the coordination of the books “Dicionário de História de Portugal – o 25 de Abril” (with António Reis and Paula Santos, Figueirinhas, 2016, 8 vols.), “O Longo Curso – estudos em homenagem a José Medeiros Ferreira” (with Pedro Aires Oliveira, Tinta da China, 2011) and “Democracia, Ditadura, Memória e Justiça Política” (with Irene Pimentel, Tinta da China, 2014) stand out.
Also honoured were the athlete Auriol Dogmo (Sport); the singer Sandra Pires (Leirienses in the World); Yuliya Hryoryeva, leader of the Ukrainian community in Leiria (Social Responsibility); and Professor Pedro Biscaia (Career).
