IHC hosts six new PhD Scholarships
Jan 7, 2022 | News
The IHC will host six new PhD scholarship holders as part of the Call for PhD Research Studentships of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Call for PhD Research Studentships in Cultural Heritage of the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage (DGPC).
Research topics are very diverse and range from political history to industrial archaeology and museology. The two doctoral students whose scholarships are supported by the DGPC will develop their projects in collaboration with the National Museum of Resistance and Freedom.
In addition to these scholarships, the IHC will also be the co-host for another three doctoral students enrolled in programmes in political science, conservation and restoration, and anthropology at Iscte-IUL, NOVA School of Science and Technology, and Indiana University Bloomington, respectively.
Thus, the IHC continues to show a good capacity in supporting researchers, both junior and senior, in attracting individual funding in competitive tenders and in collaborating with non-academic institutions.
