On the 23rd of April, the new IHC governing bodies were elected. At the Ordinary General Meeting, the only candidate list was elected with 82% of the votes casted by the IHC researchers present.
Pedro Aires Oliveira will continue as President of the Board of Directors, accompanied by Maria de Fátima Nunes, José Neves (Vice-Presidents), Maria Inácia Rezola, Paulo Jorge Fernandes, and Cláudia Ninhos (members).
The Board of the General Meeting will be constituted by Cristina Joanaz de Melo (President), Ana Cristina Martins, and Daniel Alves (members). Luís Trindade, on the other hand, assumes the presidency of the Supervisory Board, with José Pedro Sousa Dias and Luís Farinha as members.
The two-year term will be marked by the completion of the evaluation process by the Foundation for Science and Technology and the implementation of the new Strategic Plan, with a strong focus on internationalisation, digital humanities, and public history.
