Pedro Aires Oliveira received the Santander Prize for the Internationalisation of Scientific Production, granted by NOVA FCSH in collaboration with the above-mentioned bank and aimed at “distinguishing the internationalisation of the scientific production of professors, researchers, and Research Units”.
The President of the Board of the IHC ranked first in the Professors category, with the publication of five papers in international journals indexed in the Web of Science and/or SCOPUS during 2017, and therefore was the professor who contributed most to the international profile of NOVA FCSH’s publications.
The articles were published in the journals International History Review, Contemporary European History, Portuguese Journal of Social Science, and e-Journal of Portuguese History, and covered topics such as Portuguese imperialism and post-imperialism or the transition to independence in Angola.
The award was presented last Friday, 30 November, at the commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of NOVA FCSH, held at the Rectory of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
