Open lecture about the end of empires, with Norrie MacQueen, from the University of St. Andrews.

Norrie MacQueen, a specialist in international politics, history of decolonisations and United Nations peace operations, will give an open lecture in the framework of the masters course on “The African Cycle of the Empire: Colonialism, War, and Decolonisation in Contemporary Portugal”, in which he will discuss recent developments in the history of the end of empires and future research directions.

Admission is free (subject to seat availability) and the lecture be conducted in English.
