Biography
PhD in Archaeology from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of University of Porto, his thesis deals with the problem of reconstruction. He coordinated several European projects crossing the areas of Art, Science and Technology, organizing several exhibitions, lectures and research works. He co-coordinated fieldwork at the Castanheiro do Vento archaeological site (Vila Nova de Foz Côa).
Since 2000, he has been a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, where he coordinated the Department of Arts, Design, and Communication and the Degree in Video and Documentary Film at ESTA, having been an elected member of the General Council of this institution. Between 2016 and 2020, he was President of the Board of the SNESUP [National Higher Education Union]. He is currently developing his second PhD in Governance, Innovation, and Knowledge, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra.
