Biography
He is a doctoral student in Contemporary History, at the NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities. His doctoral project is called O Conselho de Saúde Pública do Reino e as políticas sanitárias oitocentistas (1837-1868) [The Kindom’s Public Health Council and 19th century sanitary policies (1837-1868)], within the scope of Health History and the History of Institutions. At the moment, he is halfway through the doctoral programme, planning to complete the writing of the thesis in early 2023. At the same time, he is preparing other communications within the scope of the research areas of the doctoral programme.
He has a degree in Sociology from ISCTE-IUL and a pre-Bologna master’s degree, conferred by the same university, in Sociology of Work, Organizations, and Employment. He collaborated on CIES research projects, under the guidance of Professor Teresa Serôdio Rosa. He worked for several years in the field of Notarial Law.
