Feb 8, 2019 | News

IHC’s Elisabete Pereira has been selected to join EUROCLIO‘s project, Sharing European Histories, whose aim is to promote innovative historiographic approaches that motivate knowledge of European history with an inclusive framework.
Her proposal was one of the five selected in more than 70 applications, and consists of a plan of scientific dissemination aimed at children, youth, and adults, based on the life histories of objects belonging to museum collections.
The application was based on the study of archaeological collections, mainly belonging to the National Museum of Archeology, in Lisbon, performed in the scope of her PhD in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Évora.
This initiative was funded by the Evens Foundation and includes a monetary prize which will allow the historian to participate in various meetings and workshops, namely the 26th EUROCLIO Annual Conference and Professional Development and Training Course in Poland.
