Workshop, organized within the framework REWIND project, on a discourse analysis methodology that combines ontological, argumentation and agency analysis.

 

IAT / ML

 

In this workshop, we present IAT/ML, a discourse analysis methodology that combines ontological, argumentation and agency analysis, and LogosLink, a software tool created for its application. The theoretical information will be exemplified with a case study related to dissonant heritage.

 

About the speakers:

Beatriz Calderón-Cerrato is a predoctoral researcher at the Institute for Heritage Sciences (INCIPIT) at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Her current research focuses on discourse analysis applied to dissonant heritage and feminism using argumentation, ontologies, and agency analysis.

César González-Pérez is a staff scientist at the Institute for Heritage Sciences (INCIPIT) at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), where he leads a co-research line in software engineering, language, and cultural heritage. He is active in the international standardisation community, has been the promoter of three technology-based companies, has authored over 100 publications, and has an H-index of 28.

Martín Pereira-Fariña is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Santiago de Compostela. His current primary research interests include discourse analysis, particularly on argumentation modelling, and the social and human impact of the ongoing development of artificial intelligence. He has actively contributed to over ten research projects funded by various national and international institutions and companies. He has authored more than 30 publications presented in different academic fora.
