Call for Communication Proposals for the 2nd Ibero-American Congress in landscape Studies – Knowing to Protect, Manage and Planning Sustainably.

Venue: Sintra, Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval / MU.SA Museu das Artes

​Date of Event: April 2 and 3, 2020

​Submission date of Communication proposals: until 24:00 on 24 November 2019

​Evaluation of Communication proposals: until 16 December 2019

​Text for publication (for proposals accepted): until 24:00 on 23 February 2020

​Duration of the Communication: maximum 15 minutes

​Proposals of Communication may be written in portuguese, spanish or english, and must present a title, an abstract, with a maximum of 700 words – in Arial 10, with 1.5 spaced lines, side margins of 3cm, upper margins of 3cm, and lower margins of 2cm- and five key words, which are included in the theme of the Congress, and that address, among others, topics such as Cultural Landscape, Landscape History, Land Use Planning, Landscape Design, Landscape and Natural Resources, Landscape and Architectural Heritage, Art and Landscape, Landscape Memory, Virtual Landscape, or Landscape and Climate Change.

The proposals of Communication must include name, institutional affiliation and electronic address, as well as a short biographical note that should not exceed 200 words.

Proposals of Communication must be sent to cibam.paisagem.sintra.2020@gmail.com by midnight on 24 November 2019.

​The results will be communicated until 16 December 2019.

​The authors of the accepted Communications should send the respective text for publication (in an ebook with ISBN), with a maximum of 7500 words, until 24:00 of 26 February 2020. Formatting standards will be sent to speakers at the acceptance.

The presentation of the Communications in the Congress should have a maximum duration of 15 minutes. Presentations via Skype / videoconference will not be allowed.
