The IHC launches a new publishing project

The creation of a new publishing project, the Imprensa de História Contemporânea (Contemporary History Press), was announced today by the IHC.

According to the editors, the new publishing line aims to “launch works that fit into the IHC’s strategic plan and that will contribute to our better understanding of contemporaneity”.

The Editorial Committee is composed by a group of academics from different Portuguese institutions: Paulo Jorge Fernandes (IHC - NOVA FCSH), Luís Trindade (IHC - NOVA FCSH), Maria João Vaz (CIES - ISCTE-IUL), Maria Alexandre Lousada (CH - FLUL), and Álvaro Garrido (CEIS20 - FLUC).

The first call for proposals, that will be followed by a peer-review process, is open until 30 September 2017 and the instructions for the authors are available on this link (in Portuguese).
